MZW <ALBUM>
Released 25.03.2009

MZW is Måns' second studio album and was released on March 25th, 2009, after participating at the Melodifestivalen 2009. It also contains Hope & Glory as a single, as well as the other singles Hold On and Impossible.
It's almost hard to imagine, but before Måns Zelmerlöw stepped on stage in Skellefteå for the performance of "Hope & Glory" that had a catapult effect towards the Globe and the Melodifestivalen final on 14 March 2009, it had actually been quiet about the 22-year-old singer/songwriter/artist/musical star/presenter .... for several months.
There has hardly been talk of a timeout - the reason was instead the second album - tellingly titled "MZW" was released on 23 March.
Apart from the single "Hope & Glory" which was written and produced with the team Kempe/Wikström who were not only behind "Hero" last year, but of course also a certain "Cara Mia" in 2007, Måns has very much taken control of both songwriting and recording for "MZW" which has been going on since summer 2008. Another song already heard by a large audience - who may not have even realised its origin - is the epic "Impossible" - written by Måns with Danne Sundquist and Aleena Gibson - and used as the soundtrack to the Telia commercial.
MZW is an album that's heavier than his debut, but you can tell that Måns had a lot of fun in the studio with songwriters and producers that include Ishi, Moh Denebi, Peter Boström and the Jason Gill/David Clewett team.
