MZ Mi Corazón
The 7th release of the MZ Wines family was added on February 7th 2024 and is a red bag-in-box wine with the name Hola MZ Mi Corazón.
With great passion and dedication, Måns has been involved in creating Hola MZ Mi Corazón - a full-bodied, generous, and elegant red wine made from the Monastrell grape. The grape, also known as Mataró in Catalonia, has its origins in Spain and has become synonymous with powerful and flavourful wines often described as possessing a distinct and characteristic flavour profile. Its unique characteristics include a robust structure, full flavours of dark berries such as blackberries, dark cherries, and plums, as well as subtle notes of pepper and chocolate.
The wine year 2022 in Spain was characterised by challenging weather conditions, with a long, hot summer and dry conditions. Despite this, the harvest, which was about two weeks earlier than usual, showed surprisingly good quality and yield. In terms of quality, the vintage is often described as "exceptional", "almost perfect", or even "the best ever seen".
Måns Zelmerlöw proudly shares his experience in this wine project: "My heart beats extra fast for Hola MZ Mi Corazón! Being part of the creation of this wine together with Joan Solér, from the choice of the Monastrell grape to the design and the region, has been like composing a love song to Spain, where each note symbolises my passion for its rich culture and amazing flavours. My hope is that everyone who tastes the wine can feel my heart, my story, and my dedication in every glass."

Taste description: Deep dark red colour. Generous aroma of dark fruit such as blackberries, dark cherries, plums, blackcurrants and with notes of pepper and chocolate. The taste is full-bodied and elegant and has a fine dark berry character, a balanced astringency and an intense flavour concentration. On the palate you will find hints of dark berries, ripe cherries, cocoa, spices and herbs followed by a long and pleasant finish.
Suitable for: Hola MZ Mi Corazón by Måns Zelmerlöw is an excellent companion to medium and heavy dishes, especially lamb, beef or poultry. Serve the wine at a temperature between 16-18°C where the wine can be aerated in a carafe for a short time before serving to highlight its complex flavours. The wine is well complemented by acidic and fatty ingredients and creamy accessories.
