In the course of his career, Måns Zelmerlöw has already participated in a wide variety of TV and film formats. His first public appearance was in the casting show Idol, but since then he has also been a (long-term) participant in or hosted TV shows several times. Måns has also appeared as an actor and dubbing artist. On this page, the formats are presented by theme.

2005 - Idol
The second season of Swedish Idol was the television premiere for Måns Zelmerlöw and has been the
starting point for his career. The first episode aired on August 30th, 2005. He stayed on the show for
8 weeks and reached 5th place.

2006 - Let’s Dance
In the first season of the Swedish edition of Let’s Dance, Måns participated as one of the contestants. His dance partner was Maria Karlsson. The show was broadcasted on TV4 from January 6th to March 10th, 2006. Måns and Maria Karlsson were the winners of this season and were able to prevail in the final against Anna Book and David Watson.

2012 - Inför Eurovision Song Contest
Inför Eurovsion Song Contest is a Swedish TV programme on SVT with a panel that judges each country’s
contribution before the ESC. The panel can give from 0 to 5 points for every song, the higher
points the better. 2012 the panel consists of: Lena Philipsson, Gina Dirawi, Måns Zelmerlöw,
Thomas Lundin, Lisette Pagler and the presenter is Christer Björkman.

2016 - Chevaleresk / Season 1
From October 31st, 2016 Måns could be seen together with Alexander Wiberg in the series
"Chevaleresk", a television series with and about style. In the 8 episodes of the first season
they talked about sins of style, whiskey and beer, the modern man, gentleman’s sports, shoes, watches and hunting.

2018 - Chevaleresk / Season 2
On March 12th, 2018 the second season of "Chevaleresk" started with Måns and Alexander Wiberg. In this
season both went on a journey and in each of the 8 episodes they presented different regions and their stylish characteristics.
The journey begins in London, across Sweden’s west coast (Västkusten), Skåne, Småland, Värmland,
Södra Norrland, Norra Norrland and ends with the Champagne.

2021 - Masked Singer Sverige / Season 1
The first season of Masked Singer Sverige was aired on TV4 on March 26th, 2021. Måns was part of the jury alongside
Pernilla Wahlgren, Nour El Refai and Felix Herngren. David Hellenius hosted the show, in which celebrities sing
hidden behind masks and costumes, and the jury has to guess who is behind it. In the first season, 12 celebrities
competed against each other in a total of 9 episodes. The winner of the season was comedian Daniel Norberg as
Godisautomaten. The internal guessing round in the jury was won by Pernilla with 5 correctly
identified celebrities. Måns came in second.

2022 - Masked Singer Sverige / Season 2
The second season of Masked Singer Sverige was aired on TV4 from March 25th, 2022. Måns was again part of the jury alongside
Pernilla Wahlgren, Nour El Refai and Felix Herngren. David Hellenius hosted the show again, in which celebrities sing
hidden behind masks and costumes, and the jury has to guess who is behind it. In the second season also 12 celebrities
competed against each other in a total of 9 episodes. The winners of the second season were the Norwegian singers
Marcus & Martinus as Spelmannen, who took turns in their performances. The jury guessing round was
also won by Pernilla this season and Måns came second.

2022 - Så Mycket Bättre
In the new season of Så Mycket Bättre, which starts on October 22nd, 2022, Måns will also be among
the participating artists. The other participants are: Olle Jönsson, Molly Hammar, Norlie & KKV, Nordman (Håkan Hemlin and Mats Wester),
Johnossi (John Engelbert), Anna Ternheim, Albin Lee Meldau, Daniela Rathana, Anne-Lie Rydé, Maja Francis and Darin. In the show,
the singers present each other’s songs, each in its own new interpretation.

2023 - Masked Singer Sverige / Season 3
Masked Singer Sverige season 3 returned on TV4 from 31 March 2023. Måns, Pernilla Wahlgren,
Nour El Refai and Felix Herngren were part of the jury as before and David Hellenius moderated the show.
Also in the third season, 12 celebrities competed against each other in a total of 9 episodes.
The winner of the season was singer Klara Hammarström as Karamellen. A particular shock moment of the
season was the unveiling of Vikingen, behind which Ciara Zelmerlöw, Måns´ wife, was hiding, and he
apparently had absolutely no idea about it. Also this season, Pernilla won the jury guessing game
with 4 celebrities recognised. Måns, Nour and Felix all shared second place with 2 correct answers each.

2024 - Masked Singer Sverige / Season 4
Masked Singer Sverige returns to the TV4 screen again in 2024. As usual, Måns, Pernilla Wahlgren,
Nour El Refai and Felix Herngren will form the judging panel and David Hellenius will host the programme.
Season 4 will be back on TV4 from 22 March.

2017 - Jordskott
In autumn 2017 Måns had his acting debut in Jordskott, a Swedish television series with crime and
mystery elements. He can be seen in the second season in episode 7 and plays the character of Henrik Riksäter.
The premiere broadcasting of the episode on SVT1 was on November 26th, 2017.

2021 - Solsidan
In 2021, Måns and his wife Ciara appeared in a guest role in the popular Swedish comedy
series Solsidan by and with Felix Herngren. In the 8th episode of season 7, which aired on
5.12.2021, they both played themselves. The press says that Anna, one of the main characters
of the series, is having a romantic affair with Måns. In the episode we see,
among other things, whether and how Anna manages to put this right again.

2007 - Lilla Melodifestivalen
On October 5th, 2007 Måns was hosting a program for the first time, he hosted the Lilla Melodifestivalen, which is the Melodifestivalen for children.
2009 - Sommarkrysset
The music entertainment show "Sommarkrysset" has been broadcasted every summer at Gröna Lund in Stockholm since 2005. In the 5th season from June 13th to September 5th, 2009 Måns took over the moderation of a show.
2010 - Melodifestivalen
After Måns had already participated as a singer in 2007 and 2009 at Melodifestivalen, the Swedish preliminary decision for the ESC, he took over the moderation of the shows for the selection process alongside Christine Meltzer and Dolph Lundgren in 2010. 2011-2013 - Allsång på Skansen
On February 23rd, 2011 it was officially announced that Måns would host the popular Swedish music show "Allsång på Skansen". The show has been held since 1979 and has been broadcasted live on Tuesdays every summer since 1990 at the Sollidenscenen in the Skansen open-air museum in Stockholm.
Måns hosted the show for three summers from 2011 to 2013. In addition to the announcement of national
and international music guests, there are also songs together withs guests, sketches, and an Allsångs song is sung together with the audience.

2016 - Eurovision Song Contest
After Måns won the ESC the year before, the 61st Eurovision Song Contest in Sweden was held in Stockholm. Måns and Petra Mede hosted the event. Read more about this on the site for the ESC.
2021 - Melodifestivalen
In the final of the Swedish preliminary decision for the ESC on March 16th, the Melodifestivalen, 2021, Måns hosted the big show alongside Shima Niavarani and Christer Björkman in which the Swedish nation votes who should represent the country at the next ESC. 2023 - Idrottsgalan
On January 16, 2023, Måns hosted the Idrottsgalan with Pernilla Wiberg. The Swedish awards ceremony for athletes was
broadcasted live on SVT1 from the Avicii Globen in Stockholm.

2024 - Idrottsgalan
On 22 January 2024 at the 25th anniversary of Idrottsgalan, Måns will once again host the gala, this year together with
Carolina Klüft. The honouring of the athletes will be broadcasted live from the Friends Arena in Stockholm on SVT1.

2009 - SpongeBob SquarePants / SwampBob Fyrkant
In the 6th season of Spongebob SquarePants Måns speaks the role of Jack Kahuna Laguna in episode 111 "SpongeBob SquarePants vs. The Big One" ("SvambBob och den stora vågen"). In the English original, the role is spoken by Johnny Depp.
2010 - Planet 51
In the Swedish dubbed version of the animated film Planet 51, Måns speaks the character of the extraterrestrial Lem.

2011 - Tangled / Trassel - Ett hårresande äventyr
In the Swedish version of the Disney animated movie, Måns speaks the role of Flynn Rider and accompanies Rapunzel on a journey
into the city to the unknown lights.

2012 - Tangled Ever After / Trassel för evigt
The short film was released in 2012 as a sequel to the feature film. The time has come for Rapunzel and Eugene (aka Flynn) to get married. But not everything goes as planned. Måns also lends his voice to the character Eugene/Flynn in the Swedish version of this short film.
2013 - Victorious
In 2013, Måns lent his voice to the character André Harris in the Nickelodeon series Victorious. As far as is known, he can be heard in two episodes of the fourth season, in episode 11 The Slap Fight / Slapsmål and in episode 12 Star-Spangled Tori / Stjärnbeströdda Tori.
2016 - Trolls
In the animated movie Trolls, Måns speaks the troll "Branch" (Swedish name: Kvist)
and helps Princess Poppy to save the other trolls from the Bergens.
