Musicals
Måns Zelmerlöw started to be musically active at an early age and he became part of musical ensembles while still at school. Even after he became known to the public, he repeatedly acted in musicals and also took on the leading role in some of them.

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
In 2002 Måns played his very first role in a musical, getting the part in competition with two thousand others. He was one of the eleven brothers of Joseph in the musical "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat". The musical was performed at Slagthuset in Malmö and ran 128 times.
Little Shop of Horrors
In his third year of high school, Måns played the lead role in "Little Shop of Horrors" at the city theatre in Lund.

Grease
In 2006 Måns got his first leading role in a musical and played the role of Danny Zuko in the
musical "Grease". It was performed at the Nöjesteatern in Malmö in 2006 and 2007.

Footloose
In 2007 Måns played one of the bigger roles in another musical, the role of bad boy
Tommy in "Footloose". You could see the musical in 2007 and 2008 in Stora Teatern in Gothenburg and in Intiman in Stockholm.

Romeo och Julia
In 2011 Måns could again be seen in a leading role in a musical. He was Romeo in "Romeo och Julia" alongside Lisette
Pagler as Juliet. Lisette got the role as the winner of the casting show "Jakten på Julia", in which Måns also had
various appearances. The musical premiered in December 2010 at Göta Lejon in Stockholm.

Spök
In autumn 2013, after ending his moderation of Allsång På Skansen, Måns played Dante in the new
edition of the Swedish musical "Spök". The other leading roles were played by Loa Falkman, Sussie Eriksson
and Lena Philipsson. It was performed at the Stockholm Circus.

Saturday Night Fever
The well-known musical "Saturday Night Fever" was revived in France in 2016. Unlike the others, Måns did not take on a role himself here, but he is involved in the soundtrack to the musical. He sings the title single "Stayin’ Alive" together with Julian Perretta and Francesco Yates. He also sings another song: "Jive Talkin’".
